Thyroid Disease testimonial # 1
Marnie had half her thyroid removed but on mangosteen juice and some regular exercise, she claims that she’s been able to reduce her medicine, naturally.
I had half of my thyroid removed September 2005. I was put on 0.05 mg Levothytoxine, because of too low thyroid functioning.
N.B.: “Levothyroxine is a replacement for a hormone that is normally produced by your thyroid gland to regulate the body’s energy and metabolism. Levothyroxine is given when the thyroid does not produce enough of this hormone on its own.” Drugs.com
In the spring of 2006 I started drinking 7 oz. (divided 3 x during the day) [that's just over twice the maintenance order of mangosteen juice] of mangosteen juice. I increased my exercise program by walking 2 or 3 miles in the morning whenever I could.
I gradually reduced my medication and by August 2006 was no longer on medication. I continued with that amount of juice and now feel like I am back to “normal” with energy levels, metabolism, etc. I will start to reduce the amount of juice gradually and see how I feel getting back to 3 oz. a day.
It was recommended 3 oz. 3x a day for low thyroid and I think since I am small the 7 oz. worked for me. You just have to try the juice consistently and give it long enough and see what happens. Everyone is different.

I was on 100mcg of Thyroxin for years and no longer need any. This was an unexpected result for me, as I was hoping for others things [from mangosteen juice] and this happened first.

Thyroid Disease testimonial # 3
After thirty years of being on thyroid medication for thirty years, Betsy was surprised that she had to reduce itafter being on mangosteen juice for a year.
I have been taking mangosteen juice for about a year, 2 oz. x 3 times a day [double the maintenance order of mangosteen juice].
I started on it for Arthritis and find that it helps that enormously.
However, what I did not expect is that when I had my blood work done at my yearly checkup, that my thyroid medication, which I have been taking for 30 years or more, is now too strong…and we are now reducing the amount.
Also, I have a bad family history of heart attacks, high blood pressure and strokes and my CRT is 0.1 which my doctor couldn’t believe.
N.B.: “Cardiac resynchronization therapy (CRT, which is sometimes called biventricular pacing) is a new form of therapy for congestive heart failure…” About.com
I have also had several other unexpected benefits and am thrilled with all the results.
