However, a few days later, Vangie sent in a second testimonial. She had used mangosteen juice to rescue her husband’s very large forehead (sic) from sunburn and it had worked!
My husband got a very bad sunburn on his very large forehead and he was in serious pain. I applied one cap-full of mangosteen juice and presto, no more pain or heat!
One more application the next day and he had a swell tan.

- In Aprol 2005, Science Daily reported that researchers had found that, in looking at the behavior of 340 Danish volunteers, the incidence of Sunburn was – as might be expected – was generally confined to younger women who indulged in high risk behaviors like sunbathing or spending long hours exposed to the sun.
- while not being specifically about sunburn, I thought that this report from England’s Daily Mail in August 2009, might be of interest. Sun-worshipper (and former tanning bed owner) Anne Ryder Richardson says: “No-one told me that a tan shrinks your skin!“
