Ah! This is a trivial tangent, if ever there was one but one I’m very happy to make! Perusing Amazon for relevant “Sinusitis” products, I came across a comedy song, Sinusitis, Tonsillitis by one Mark Sherman. A little research turned up that:
- Mr. Sherman has a Ph. D from Harvard
- Dr. Sherman has taught Psychology for 25 years at SUNY New Paltz
- was a New Paltz councilman 1988 – 1991 &
- self-published Real Men Don’t Write Columns, a collection of his writings from The Huguenot Herald and The New Paltz Times
Unfortunately, the Sinusitis, Tonsillitis snippet is taken up by onstage chat but you can hear bits from his other songs from Please, Professor, including great titles, like I’m In Love With A Sheep, My Mother Always Wanted Me To Marry A Jewish Girl & By Day I’m A Psych Professor.
