Mangosteen Juice Testimonials For Effects On Glaucoma, Testimonial # 5

Glaucoma testimonial # 5

Bonnie has Glaucoma but is over the moon with her improvements in vision since starting on mangosteen juice.

I was diagnosed with Glaucoma about 25 years ago, when I was only 35 years old. Since that time, I have been using various eye drops, had several laser surgeries and a trabeculectomy to both eyes.

In September, 2005, I was using a magnifying glass to look up numbers in the phone book, etc. My optometrist told me that a prescription change would not help, as my visual problems were due to Glaucoma damage.

In February, 2006, I was introduced to mangosteen juice. Within three weeks of starting to use mangosteen juice, I knew that my vision was improving.

By June, 2006, my vision was so improved that I was no longer using the magnifying glass. I had another appointment with my optometrist and he said the astigmatism had been corrected in my right eye and he was able to give me a prescription change.

In June, 2007, he was able to give me a prescription change for my left eye. Prior to starting to use mangosteen juice, my opthalmologist had been talking about performing a second trabeculectomy to my right eye. He has not mentioned it again since I started using mangosteen juice. I honestly believe that I would not have been legal to drive by the end of 2006, if I had not started to use mangosteen juice.

My optometrist’s records show that my vision at its worst was: left eye 80/20 – right eye 60/20. I am now testing at: left eye 50/20 – right eye 20/20

My visual fields test results are remaining consistent, though damage is apparently continuing to the optic nerve.

My central vision is blurred but perhaps some of that is due to the surgeries too.

Would I recommend mangosteen juice to others?

Without hesitation. I actually tell people that I will stop eating before I will stop taking my mangosteen juice! If I had been skeptical and refused to try it, where would I be today? I am so glad I thought:

“What have I got to lose? I’m losing my vision. It’s worth a try.”
